Black Book tee series

This is another series I am considering. It’s a little on a weird side, and I’m not sure how well they would sell. But when I was in college, the last year, I kept a little black book and I would write down things I said, things my friends would say, lines from movies, lines from books. I’m thinking that they could translate into some cool and rather poetic tees. I was and still kinda am a bittertron so a lot of the shirts are darkly funny and others deeply felt.

This is the same image only with fabric and textile. And this look is the one I will be continuing the series in. Hopefully like I mentioned before there will be three more to follow, as I like to work in series, and like my series to total in an even number.

Dia De Los Muertos

So I had it in my head that I would do a series of shirts based on DDLM. These are the preliminary sketches of the first portrait. All of my work these days jogs towards the digital, much of it is done in illustrator, but as you will see I kind of moved backwards with this one. Drawing it first, scanning, working it in illustrator, then moving back to photoshop and working it over photographically. It came a long way and I think I’m finally happy with it. Should be premiering on TeeSquat when the site is back up and running in about a month along with three others in the series. Stay tuned to see how they turn out.
