So I had it in my head that I would do a series of shirts based on DDLM. These are the preliminary sketches of the first portrait. All of my work these days jogs towards the digital, much of it is done in illustrator, but as you will see I kind of moved backwards with this one. Drawing it first, scanning, working it in illustrator, then moving back to photoshop and working it over photographically. It came a long way and I think I’m finally happy with it. Should be premiering on TeeSquat when the site is back up and running in about a month along with three others in the series. Stay tuned to see how they turn out.
